Friday's Fabulous Woman: Christiane Amanpour

I remember being totally inspired and impressed when television reporter, Christiane Amanpour first appeared on my television set reporting on Bosnia.  She came across as smart, calm and personable in very difficult circumstances. 

Born in 1958, Amanpour is the daughter of an English mother and Iranian father.  After receiving a degree in journalism, she joined CNN in 1983 and has gone on to become an acclaimed international correspondent.  She recently signed on with ABC to anchor "This Week".
