Spacecraft

If I ever get to Melbourne, Australia, Spacecraft is on my list of must-visit stores.   They print there own textiles and make lots of things.  My favorites are the stretched canvas art made from printing backing cloth.  Per their website: "In the Spacecraft studio there is a table just dedicated to experimentation, new designs, trials and print-off.  The backing cloth covering the table becomes saturated by the progressions and ideas of the studio.  Gradually chance compositions are discovered just before they're forgotten beneath the next project.  Somehow these artworks reflect the energy of the studio in full flight, capture a moment of the Spacecraft story."
