Fridays Fabulous: Vidal Sassoon

Years ago when I first started traveling, my friends and I would head over to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London to get our haircut by students.   At five pounds a cut, it was the only haircut and color we could afford and we knew we would end up with something cool and edgy.   Because of the fun I had back then, I have frequented Vidal Sassoon Salons all over the world at one time or another.  Vidal Sassoon, the man behind the brand, was an awesome creative talent,  a great business man and a very nice man who I was lucky enough to meet briefly a few years ago.   RIP
