Happy Thanksgiving!

Loving the color in this bougainvilla! Wishing one and all a wonderful Turkey day with friends and family from a glorious, warm blue sky day in Los Angeles!

Artist Series: Diva Zappa

We just hang Diva Zappa's wonderful psychedelic work in the store. Her colorful bold insanities are comprised of mutations of her photographs of knitting and musicians with incredible embroidery and handstitched wool woven across the surface.

It's Feeling Remarkably Like Fall!

A couple of grey, rainy days was all it took to put us in the mood to change things up in the store and add lots of new stuff.

Love Nick Brandt

I am completely in awe of people who have the talent to make something that we have all seen a lot of (in this case pictures of animals in Africa), new, fresh and exciting. We have Nick Brandt's new book "A Shadow Falls" in the store and I am in love with the texture, light and composition in his photographs. There is a touring exhibition of his work at the moment which I highly recommend -- if it comes to a town near you - go -- tour dates are on his site - here.

Apologies for my photos of his photos in the book -- I didn't do them justice but these are some of my favorites!

Kimberley's Home

My wonderfully talented friend, Kimberley Gundle's home was featured in the UK Mail on Sunday's You magazine last week. Her home is exciting, color-filled and creative. A couple of the pictures feature Henry Road fabric lounging on little chaise longues.

Moved

Moved house and studio this week...still trying to dig myself out from under the boxes in the midst of unbelievable heat and the pall of smoke from the Station fire. The amazing people battling that inferno put my little hill of cardboard in perspective!

Picture of a moving venture of a different kind courtesy of my sister who just spent three weeks exploring Peru!
