Friday's Fabulous Woman: Beatrix Potter
My recent wanderings through the English countryside, got me thinking about the fantasy world created by Beatrix Potter and her wonderful books that had a home on my bookshelf years ago. Born in 1866, she published The Tale of Peter Rabbit in her thirties. She went on to become a full time illustrator and storyteller gaining financial independence from her parents and earning millions of fans around the world.
I´m very fascinated by Beatrix Potter. Considering what she did and in what era.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy the film too, thought it was quite too sweet for my taste. But never the less, I enjoyed it.
